This online portfolio has been designed with a professional audience in mind. The purpose of this portfolio is to illustrate both research and pedagogical aspects of my teacher education, and subsequent teaching experiences, as they relate to teaching English as a second and/or foreign language. Because I do not believe that education can be rigidly defined as traditional, teacher-centered classroom learning, inclusions incorporate both traditional and non-traditional practices, and take place both inside and outside of traditional classrooms.
It is my hope that this portfolio be viewed as a sampling of select components, developed between September 2007 and May 2009, meant to provide a window into the greater picture of educational possibilities. The inclusions do not encompass my entire body of TESL/TEFL work and any questions you might have regarding specific aspects of my TESL/TEFL education or experience should be addressed directly to me. That being said, additional materials can be made available upon request.
Your constructive comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
